The Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya, a
supra-university research center established in Barcelona and devoted to basic and applied R&D related to the physical and lower layers of communications systems, is interested in filling engineering positions
in communications technologies. Applications are invited for:

ENGINEERING POSITIONS
Wireless engineer <1 position>: We are looking for an engineer with more than one year work experience in Wireless networks such as WiFi, WiMAX,
and ZigBee, in terms of hardware design and/or development of communication protocols. Preference will be given to candidates with good knowledge of the current market and the future solutions, with a
balance of the short-term results-oriented perspective and the long-term Research approach.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants must hold an MSc/Engineering degree in telecommunications,
electronics, computer science or related fields, capacity of carrying out innovative research independently. Experience in R&D or industrial
projects carried out in the context of research institutions and centres
is a plus.

CONDITIONS
The candidates will be offered a one-year contract . The rank
and salary, in the range 21,000 – 24,000 €/year , will be determined according to qualifications and work experience. CTTC is
particularly interested in candidates with a good balance of academic qualifications and know-how in their field of knowledge.
