We are seeking a Research Nurse to work with the UCD HIV Molecular Research Group (HMRG) in an operational support and clinical role. This position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to become involved with cutting-edge clinical research studies. The person will be responsible for operational support for clinical research studies which involves Infectious Diseases clinic population from the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital in Dublin. In particular, these studies aim examine comorbidities associated with HIV infection and its treatment, such as cardiovascular and bone disease. The study clinical trial visits will involve questionnaire completion, fasting blood sampling and processing and DXA scanning.

Selection Criteria:
Applications will be assessed on the basis of how well candidates satisfy these criteria:
- Nursing Primary degree or diploma
- Registered in An Bord Altranais
- Ability to multi-task and juggle complex workload
- Excellent organisational abilities
- Able to work as part of a team
- Should possess the ability to make rational well thought out decisions and to show initiative
- Should have the ability to work within procedural and legislative requirements
- Previous research experience desirable but not essential

Salary: € 27,210-37,400 per annum (according to experience)
