Posdoctoral position:
Juan de la Cierva´s 2012 call
Spanish National Cardiovascular Research Center (CNIC), Madrid (Spain)

Postdoctoral position is available in the Nuclear Receptor Signaling group, led by Dr. Mercedes Ricote and part of the Department of Cardiovascular Development and Repair. The project will examine signaling pathways in stem cell biology and tissue regeneration. We are looking for enthusiastic and highly-motivated individuals with an interest in cardiovascular diseases.

Candidates must possess a PhD or MD degree (or equivalent) with experience in molecular biology, cell biology and signaling. Experience with animal models of regeneration and hematopoietic/cardiac stem cells is preferable; a strong publication record will be valued.

The Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares (CNIC) is a public research institute dedicated to excellence in cardiovascular research and to translating new knowledge into real improvements in clinical practice (www.cnic.es).

Juan de la Cierva´s call, financed by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation (http://www.micinn.es/), offers 3-year contract to early postdoctoral scientists.
