For the support of all research units, we are seeking an

IT-systems engineer

Accountabilities:
• Management of large data volumes (>1000 TB), long term archiving and I/O-optimization
• Technical support for scientific projects
• (Semi-)automation of system (re)configurations
• Development of (semi-)automatized system recovery procedures
• Training and support of system administrators

Qualifications:
• University degree in informatics, or comparable qualifications
• Excellent programming skills in several languages and programming models
• Team sprit and excellent communication skills
