The Energy Storage group at the Advanced Materials for Energy Area of IREC, lead by Prof. J.R. Morante, announces a Reseach Position available for a highly motivated candidate to work in the activity of valorisation of carbon dioxide by photocatalytic processes for sun fuel production. Research activities will include synthesis and characterisation of photocatalysts, photoreactor setup and reaction monitoring by gas chromatography.
Candidate must have a Bachellor and Master degree in Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, and have a demonstrated research experience of more than 2 years after completion of Master in a related field: photocatalysis, heterogeneous catalysis, synthesis of mesoporous metal oxides, electrochemistry or valorisation of carbon dioxide. CV must additionally reflect candidate's experience on the synthesis of semiconductors, gas and liquid analysis for reaction monitoring and characterisation techniques.
