The University of Wyoming (UW) Department of Modern and Classical Languages seeks to fill the position of Department Head and Associate or Professor of Spanish with open specialization; preference for Latin American Studies. Candidates should have a record qualified for appointment as a tenured associate or full professor and a distinguished record of teaching, research, advising, and service, as well as substantial relevant management experience, demonstrated commitment to teamwork, and strong communication and networking skills to build internal and external contacts on behalf of the department. Applicants should submit a cover letter detailing relevant qualifications for this job, curriculum vitae, statement of academic leadership, three recent teaching evaluations, and three letters of recommendation.
