Description:

The European Centre for Soft Computing has extensive experience in financing research and development projects through Regional, National and European funding programs aimed at leading research centres. The candidate will work in in the preparation of grant proposals and in management of ongoing projects.
The grant proposal tasks include monitoring suitable funding schemes, collecting information from partners, processing inputs and backrground information from heterogenous sources, structuring and writing new proposals, performing business analysis activities and being responsible of the complete preparation and submission process.
The project management tasks include gathering administrative and financial documents, coordinating the activities with the partners and funding organizations, ensuring appropriate follow-up of all contractual issues, organizing project meetings, preparing and processing technical and financial reports, and giving support to the dissemination activities, IPR management, business planning and feasibility studies.

Required academic degree:

Masters Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or other related technical areas.

Candidate's requirements:

Fluency in English (both written and spoken) including.
Experience in research project management and in reporting to funding organizations.
Excellent organisational skills including reliability and ability to meet deadlines.
Good communication skills .
Responsiveness and ability to perform different tasks.

PhD in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or other related technical areas.
Research or management experience in FP7 or H2020 programmes.
Grant proposal preparation for FP7 or H2020 calls.
MBA or business administration courses.

General Conditions:

Initial 1 year contract that could be extended
Gross yearly salary between 22k€ and 25k€ according to qualifications and experience.
