We offer a PhD grant for 3 years in the area of health and nutrition. This study is a part of the European project SATIN: Satiety innovation http://www.satin-satiety.eu
The aim of the project is to conduct a medium-term clinical trial focused to maintain the body weight through increasing satiety, after a period of weight loss.

The fellowship will start in June. This work will be done in the Human Nutrition Unit, Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Institute of Health Pere i Virgili, of the Rovira i Virgili University. We offer the possibility to be a part of our Research team and to collaborate in several national and international projects on human nutrition and health.

We are looking for a young investigator who wants to direct his/her career in human health, with ability to work as a team.

The main methodologies to be used in this project will be:
• 3-day dietary records, physical activity questionnaires, satiety questionnaires
• Anthropometrical data (BIA, DEXA)
• Accelerometry
• Probe-days satiety
• Nutritional counseling, confection of menus and recipes
• Biochemical measurements (inflammatory markers)
• Metabolomics
• Data base and statistical analysis

Requirements:
• Degree in Nutrition and/or Master in Nutrition finished after 2013
• The degree must be approved/homologated by the Ministry of Education.
• Good level of English and Spanish languages.
• Good marks (over 2 of 4).
