POST DOC RESEARCHER IN FOOD SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY AT ICCRAM- BURGOS UNIVERSITY. Juan de la Cierva "Formación".

ICCRAM (International Research Center in CRMs for Advanced Industrial Technologies), is a new International Excellence Research Center placed in Burgos University facilities, which is developing activities in the following areas: Biophysics, Biotechnology, Industrial Technology, Materials Science, Nanosafety, materials design, nanotechnology, nuclear technology, resource management efficiency, ecoinnovation and substitution of critical raw materials.

DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a recent PhD Researcher interested in applying for a Juan de la Cierva "Formación" Grant. Candidates should have competences in the following area: Food Science and Technology.

WHO CAN APPLY?
Candidates must meet the following requirements, published at BOE 7th December, 2015:
- PhD Degree MUST has been awarded between 01/01/2014 and 12/31/2015.
- Candidates must not have applied to Ramón y Cajal and Juan de la Cierva-Incorporación grants in the current call.
- Candidates must not have been previously beneficiary of a Ramón y Cajal or a Juan de la Cierva, "Formación" and "Incorporación" Grants.

IT WOULD BE CONSIDERED:
• Have lead author publications with high impact.
• Mobility (International research stays) and predoctoral o postdoctoral experience in RED centres.
• Participation in European Projects.
• Capacity to work as a member of a team, flexibility, willing to carry out international research stays and research motivation.
• Experience in the following research areas: Food Science and Technology.
• Experience in molecular techniques, cell biology, proteomics and genomics.
• Experience in cell culture
• Interest in nanotechnology applied to food technology
