After obtaining a grant from the Spanish National Health system we are encouraged to apply for predoctoral (PFIS program) and postdoctoral (Sara Borrell program) fellowships associated to a project to model human diseases in C. elegans. The two main research lines are "splicing and disease" and "mechanisms of resistance against chemotherapeutic agents". The official language in the lab is English.

We seek for:
- Students with good qualifications to apply for a four year PhD fellowship. Deadline April 15.
- Postdoc that defended their PhD after January 2012 with competitive publications record. Deadline April 10.

We have published our recent work in top journals as PLos Genetics, Nature Medicine, RNA, Genetics, Cell Reports or RNA.
