CANDIDATO PARA CONTRATO SARA BORRELL – ONCOLOGIA MOLECULAR - BARCELONA
Se busca un investigador(a) postdoctoral altamente motivado/a para solicitar un contrato Sara Borrell del Instituto de Salud Carlos III (FIS). El candidato/a se unirá al 'Grupo de Investigación Biomédica en Tumores del Tracto Digestivo' del Instituto de Investigaciones Vall d'Hebrón, Barcelona (https://goo.gl/lMYY41), y trabajará en la identificación y validación de nuevos biomarcadores moleculares capaces predecir la repuesta de los tumores colorrectales al tratamiento quimioterapéutico. Para ello se utilizarán técnicas genómicas de última generación como la secuenciación del genoma y RNAseq, así como otras técnicas de biología molecular y celular.
REQUISITOS DE LOS SOLICITANTES:
- Estar en posesión del título de doctor con fecha posterior al 1 de enero de 2013.
- Al menos dos publicaciones como primer autor (ver https://goo.gl/fc4bp6).
SE VALORARÁ
- Estancias postdoctorales en centros extranjeros de excelencia.
- Experiencia en el campo de la oncología molecular, especialmente con el uso de herramientas bioinformáticas usadas para el análisis de estudios 'ómicos' (R, Bioconductor, GSEA, etc).
- Formación Sanitaria Especializada o contratos Rio Ortega previo.
SE OFRECE:
- Contrato de 3 años.
- Sueldo bruto anual: 26.866,00€.

POSTDOCTORAL POSITION – MOLECULAR ONCOLOGY - BARCELONA
We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Postdoctoral researcher to apply for a three-year contract funded by the Spanish Government. The successful candidate will join the Group of Biomedical Research in Digestive Tract Tumors at Vall d'Hebron Research Institute, (https://goo.gl/lMYY41). The Vall d´Hebron Institute is a large multidisciplinary institution, with more than 260 active research projects and over 650 publications in 2016 in all fields of biomedical research. We are located in Barcelona, a large Mediterranean city in northern Spain with many cultural and entertainment possibilities. The postdoctoral fellow will work on the identification and characterization of new molecular biomarkers of response to chemotherapy for colorectal cancer patients, using high through-put techniques such as exome sequencing and RNAseq as well as other established cell and molecular techniques.

THE CANDIDATES MUST:
- Have a PhD Degree obtained later than 1 of January of 2013.
- Have at least TWO publications as first author in the field of molecular oncology, preferably on colorectal cancer.
- Experience with bioinformatics tools frequently used for the analysis of 'omic' data will be a plus (R, Bioconductor, GSEA, etc).
