A postdoctoral position is available immediately at the Experimental Therapeutics Laboratory at the Vall d'Hebron Institute of Oncology (Scientific Director: José Baselga), Barcelona, Spain. Our group has a long tradition in studying and testing hypothesis-based targeted therapy in breast cancer. Our research is committed to the clinical implications of our findings in relation to ongoing and future clinical trials.
Specifically, the candidate will be involved in the identification of the mechanisms of action of and resistance to PI3K/AKT/mTOR inhibitors, with particular emphasis in the discovery of novel molecular biomarkers that accurately reflect the activity of these inhibitors in vivo, as well as in the clinical setting.

Requirements:

• We are looking for a senior postdoc (PhD and/or MD) with a high publication record and strong background in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology and bioinformatics.

• Experience in working with mice will be positively considered.

• Fluency in English is mandatory.
