Postdoctoral candidates Sara Borrell fellowships in Breast Cancer (ProCURE Research Program, IDIBELL, Barcelona)

DEADLINE for applications is 5 MAY 2017.

We seek for:
- An excellent skilled postdoc with a strong publication record in cancer biology including any of the following disciples: biology, medicine, mathematics, statistics, or physics.
- The candidate will apply to the Sara Borrell Fellowship program of the Ministry of Health ISCIII.
- Candidates must have first-authored publications in top journals.
- The candidates should also be self-motivated and independent.

The research group is led by MA Pujana and is part of the ProCURE research program of the Catalan Institute of Oncology (Bellvitge Institute for Biomedical Research, IDIBELL). The main aims of the research group are to better understand breast cancer development and the response to therapies, particularly in the context of poor prognosis tumor subtypes. Thus, the research is focused on triple-negative and BRCA1-mutated breast cancer, and combines advanced molecular and cell biology studies, with animal assays and integrative bioinformatic approaches.
