RESEARCH TECHNICIAN FELLOWSHIP

We are accepting applications to award a research technician fellowship to carry out activities in the under mentioned research project funded by the European Union

Project: The role of local mRNA translation in synapse formation

Job summary:
We offer a position for a research technician (BTI) in the Glutamatergic Synapses Group of the Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology, University of Coimbra, Portugal. The technician will be working in the signaling mechanism leading to synapse formation, funded by the European Union, and should have a University Degree ("Licenciatura" pre-Bolonha or a Master post-Bolonha") in Biology, Biochemistry or similar (preferentially an average of 16 out of 20, or equivalent). Previous research experience in Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience is desirable. The position is for a period of 12 months. The monthly salary is 745 Euros, and the corresponding social security.
