quote the impact of the networking sessions was terrific What others say about networking
sessions at ICT 2008:

".... The impact of the Networking Session was terrific: more than 70 selected people attended the gathering ... it was a unique opportunity for face-to-face gathering of top-researchers from Europe and from Latin America and it gave birth to a number of collaborations across the two regions. "  - Fabio Nascimebi, MENON Network EEIG

"Over sixty participants packed into the 'Policy modelling and simulation'session ... The session heard about the challenges being faced, some real success stories, and above all, innovative research proposals designed to bridge the gap between policy aspiration and real world evidence. This has since laid the basis for a successful crop of research projects now being implemented."
- Jeremy Millard, Danish Technological Institute, Policy and Business Analysis.

"The networking session on NEM technology platform ... constituted a crucial step towards promoting Networked and Electronic Media technologies widely ... and was an efficient vehicle to channel many disperse and plural contributions from researchers located elsewhere in the world ... Since that ... session, interest n the NEM technology platform increased significantly and many new consortiums and initiatives were launched",
- Julian Sesena, Rose Vision
