A Ph.D. student position is available to study the developmental mechanisms of pluripotency and stem cell formation in Arabidopsis using molecular, genetic, genomic and microscopy approaches. The goal of the research is the identification and characterization of the molecular and genetic factors that make cells into postembryonic pluripotent stem cells. Applicants are expected to have an outstanding academic record and genuine interest in science. Having a master in life sciences is compulsory. Previous research experience will be considered. The position will be funded for a maximum of 4 years.
