We are offering a 2-year postdoctoral contract to work at the Cell Therapy Program of the Center for Applied Medical Research (CIMA) in Pamplona (Spain).

The successful applicants must hold a PhD at the time of recruitment, and should have broad experience in the field of stem cells, particularly on iPSCs culture, generation and differentiation. Moreover, experience in genome editing (CRISPR/Cas9), molecular biology and/or development of viral vectors will be highly considered. Incorporation to the project will be requested by October 1st, 2017.

The project is based on the development of disease models and advanced therapies for rare diseases. The successful candidate is expected to perform original research developing and characterizing iPSC-based disease models that will be used to evaluate new therapies in vitro. In addition, the project aims to correct disease-specific iPSCs using genome editing technologies that will be used, after proper in vitro differentiation, to evaluate cell-based therapeutic approaches in vivo. Moreover, the research project also includes the development and evaluation of advanced therapies using CRISPR/Cas-mediated in vivo genome editing.
