We are seeking for a highly motivated doctor who obtained his/her Ph.D. latter than 31/08/2009, with a competitive curriculum to apply for a postdoctoral fellowship from the Spanish Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad (for more information see: http://goo.gl/N1b6aE) to join the research group in mammalian meiosis led by Dr. Ignasi Roig at the Institut de Biotecnologia i Biomedicina of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (http://grupsderecerca.uab.cat/roiglab/) .

The main focus of the group is to study meiotic recombination in mice using genetic, pharmacological and cell biology tools. We are interested in understanding the mechanisms that regulate meiotic recombination in mammals focusing on the effect they have to fertility. Thus, applicants with a strong reproductive biology, developmental biology or cell biology background are preferred.

Requirements:
- Ph.D. degree obtained after 31/08/2009
- Competitive CV with more than one first author publications in indexed first-quartile international journals
- Cell biology and/or molecular biology skills
- Experience in international research centers

We offer:
- Two years contract.
- Yearly salary of 25.000€ gross.
