What we offer?
CIC energiGUNE is now offering the opportunity to complete the Research PhD project on the field of Materials Science and Energy Storage at our facilities. The candidate will be hired at CIC energiGUNE for three year.
Eligibility
Applications are open to students worldwide with a Master Degree in related subjects: materials science, physics, chemistry, engineering, etc.

Required skills:
We are looking for a highly motivated, talented and committed student with a solid background in materials science. The present PhD thesis is a multidisciplinary task: synthesis advanced structural and electrochemical characterization, among others. Therefore requires a flexible and open-minded candidate with a strong ability to learn. Other required skills are the ability for working in a team, high level of spoken and written English language and independent working.
PhD project Description
The candidate will work in a research group and his/her main tasks will be related to the synthesis of porous carbons and carbonaceous-metal oxide composites, their physicochemical characterization and its evaluation as electrodes for supercapacitors.
