In the framework of the research line on Silicon technology, the research group "Silicio y Nuevos Conceptos de Células Solares" is looking for a candidate willing to follow the PhD.

The work proposed will contribute to the development of high efficiency solar cells on low‐cost ultra‐thin Silicon substrates. Special focus will be made on the combination with other semiconductors to form a tandem structure, on the implementation of advanced light trapping structures and on the tailoring of thermal steps for low‐cost high‐defective Silicon substrates.
