Postdoctoral position Beatriu de Pinós
We're seeking for a postdoctoral candidate to apply to AGAUR Beatriu de Pinós 2014 –Modality B (Generalitat of Catalunya). Applicants will join a research program at IDIBAPS, Hospital Clinic of Barcelona, focusing on the antitumorigenic role of stromal fibroblasts and immune cells in prostate cancer development, progression and metastasis using tissue, cell-based systems and animal models.
The position requires:
• PhD in biomedical sciences between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2012.
• Minimum of 2 years of postdoctoral training outside Spain or in a country different from the one in which the PhD is obtained.
• At least 2 publications as first-author.
• Haven't worked/lived in Spain more than 1 year in the last 2 years.
• Expertise in cancer, molecular and cell biology.
• Experience working with animal models.
• Capable of working in an independent manner.
• Spoken and written English
