VPH meeting on 'in silico medicine'

DemAAL Summer School: State-of-the-art technologies to monitor dementia

DemAAL Summer School has successfully taken place from 16 until 20 September in Chania, Crete (Greece). Who will win the European Health Award 2013?

Six cross-border health projects, each of them with a patient-centred focus, have been short-listed for the prestigious European Health Award 2013. Among them are the EU funded epSOS project and an online platform where volunteer medical students explain medical reports to patients. The prize-winner will be chosen by a panel of leading health experts, and the award presented at the European Health Forum Gastein in early October.

Commission delivers €100 Millions to tech startups and SMEs - puts money where mouth is

Around 1000 start-ups and other highly innovative companies will receive grants from a new €100m funding round from the European Commission’s Future Internet Public-Private-Partnership to develop apps and other digital services, in areas such as transport, health, smart manufacturing, energy and media.
