CIC Energigune is now inviting applications for the position of post-doctoral fellow to carry research in the field of energy storage technologies. We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional capable of taking this unique opportunity with the following requirements:

Job function:

• Study the electrode formulations
• Develop and optimize the cell fabrication process parameters
• Fabrication of the pouch cell for rechargeable batteries and capacitors

Qualification requirements:

• PhD in Materials Engineering preferably with thesis work in the field of lithium ion batteries cell development
• Hand on experience with Li-ion battery fabrication equipments
• Inter-personal and communication skills to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team or to provide supports for other facility users.
• Applicants should be fluent in English. Knowledge of Spanish and/or Basque will be considered useful but not compulsory.
