The GSIC/EMIC (Intelligent & Cooperative Systems / Education, Media, Computing & Culture) research group works at the School of Telecommunications Engineering, University of Valladolid, Spain. It is a multidisciplinary team composed of telecommunications engineers, computer scientists, pedagogues and educational psychologists. The research work of the GSIC/EMIC focuses mainly on the fields of Technology Enhanced Learning and Computer Supported Collaborative Learning, exploring the use of innovative technologies in education. GSIC/EMIC research interests include ubiquitous learning, immersive learning (e.g., by using Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality or Virtual Worlds), learning analytics, learning orchestration, massive learning environments (e.g., MOOCs), and the use of Web 2.0, linked data, semantic web, and cloud computing in education.
POSITION:
POST DOC RESEARCHER – TECHNOLOGY ENHANCED LEARNING - JUAN DE LA CIERVA FELLOWSHIP.
DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Post Doc researcher, interested in applying for a Juan de la Cierva (JdC) fellowship. Candidates should have a PhD in Technology Enhanced Learning.
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates MUST meet the following requirements:

- PhD Degree awarded between 01/01/2011 and 12/31/2013.
- Candidates must not have applied to Ramón y Cajal fellowship in the current call.
- Candidates must not have been previously beneficiary of a Ramón y Cajal or a Juan de la Cierva fellowships.

IT WILL BE CONSIDERED:
• Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, computer science, electrical engineering, education or related fields.
• Publications in relevant conferences and indexed journals of the field.
• Mobility (international research stays).
• Predoctoral or postdoctoral experience in research groups/centers.
• Research experience in the field of Technology Enhanced Learning.
• Participation in international research projects.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
