The research group of Atomistic Materials Modeling at IMDEA Materials Institute is seeking a:

Research assistant to work in IMDEA in a project funded by Abengoa about the simulation of plasticity in Ni-based systems using Molecular Dynamics and Kinetic Monte Carlo techniques under the supervision of two project leaders with demonstrated experience in the field.

Starting date: As soon as possible. (ASAP)

Requirements:

 Master in materials science, physics, chemistry or aeronautical engineering.

The optimum candidate would have had some exposure to some of the following fields:
 Monte Carlo simulations.
 Molecular Dynamics simulations.
 Materials science.

The candidate should be highly motivated, and willing and eager to obtain a PhD degree working in these topics. High level of English is mandatory.
