AIAMM is a Joint R&D Unit constituted by Grupo AIA (Artificial Intelligence Company) and Fundació Privada Ascamm (Industrial Technology Center).
We are currently a pre-startup company focused on embedded intelligence for a wide range of applications in several sectors: transportation, energy, medical and industry in general.

The origin of such a "covalent bond" between AIA and ASCAMM turned out to be quite obvious after taking into account the nature and activities of both Entities:
AIA (www.aia.es) is an information technology and software engineering company. Building up from a clear core technology of artificial intelligence, AIA has solved extremely complex problems within the industry and the business world. Its software is based on techniques for classification, prediction, optimization, simulation and artificial intelligence, which are currently experiencing rapid and constant change. The permanent goal of AIA is to build "algorithms for a better world" and transform existing information into knowledge ready to apply.
ASCAMM (www.ascamm.com) is one of the most active Spanish Technology Centers, that is to say, a private entity bridging the gap between Universities and Industry and between different sectors. The bulk of its daily work can be mainly ascribed to Technology Transfer activities in multiple areas of knowledge: new production technologies, new materials, new applications, new industrial designs, new software for industry and new business models related to the aforementioned issues. ASCAMM has a clear conviction of the underlying power of R&D results, because "today's Science is Tomorrow's technology".

AIAMM is born at the Parc Tecnològic del Vallès (15Km away from Barcelona), part of the ongoing project of the Campus of International Excellence of the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. This is currently a fast-paced growing area due to the location of one of the biggest Spanish singular scientific infrastructure, the ALBA Synchrotron.
Due to this cutting-edge R&D environment and the state of the art of our current projects, AIAMM is an excellent scenario for those researchers willing to initiate and develop a professional career in the private sector.

POSITION: Researcher & Developer in Computational Industrial Physics

• Postdoctoral Researcher at the R&D Department of AIAMM Embedded Technologies.
• Involved in local and international R&D projects in the areas of intelligent software for: Electric Vehicle, Smart Power Grid, and Renewable Energies.
