IMDEA Food Foundation launches this Call for the recruitment of postdoctoral scientist who wants to develop their research career at IMDEA Food in Food and Health Area, covering the following position:

Job Description:
Collaboration in research Project: "Formulation of food products for the prevention and targeted treatment of chronic diseases related to metabolism"

Qualifications required:
Possess a PhD in Biology with at least 8 years of full time postdoctoral research experience.
Experience in high rank foreign (out of Spain) research institutions of at least three years.
Experience required in the following areas:
- Food industry and biomedical research.
- Nutrition research.
- Functional Foods
- Bioactive ingredients
- Intestinal microbiota
- Digestion
- In vitro models
- Clinical trials of nutritional intervention models.
- Experience in animal experimentation.
At least 15 articles in high impact journals in the area, and technology transfer in terms of patents.

Education requirements:
PhD in Life Science (i.e. Biochemistry and Molecular Biology)
