A Ph.D. student position is available to study the developmental mechanisms of organ and tissue formation and regeneration in the Arabidopsis root using molecular, genetic, genomic and microscopy approaches. The goal of the research is the identification and characterization of new signals and regulators that locate and specify stem cells. Applicants are expected to have an outstanding academic record and genuine interest in science. Having a master in life sciences is compulsory. Previous research experience will be considered. The position will be funded for a maximum of 4 years.
