RESEARCH POSITION
EUROPEAN RESEARCH PROJECT "ADREM":

"ADAPTABLE REACTORS FOR RESOURCE AND
ENERGY-EFFICIENT METHANE VALORISATION"

WHERE: Institute of Nanoscience of Aragon and Chemical Engineering and Environmental Technologies Department, Nanoporous Films and Particles Group (http://www.unizar.es/nfp), University of Zaragoza (Spain).

OBJECTIVE: ADREM aims to design novel microwave reactor configurations and novel microwave-absorbing materials to enable an efficient and selective activation of methane at comparatively lower bulk gas phase temperatures.

Duration: 12 months (possible extension).
Category: Junior Researcher with 2 years experience
Salary: €19,400 per year (gross salary, approx.).
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor + Master in Chemistry, Physics or Engineering and 2 years of accredited experience in research and development.

Proven experience in one or more of the following fields:
 Synthesis and characterization of catalytic materials.
 Alternative energy forms for catalyst activation: microwaves, laser, magnetic fields.
 Design/Simulation of microwave cavities.
 Heat transfer dynamics in reaction systems and/or microsystems.
