CIC Energigune is a new energy research centre based in the Basque Country of Spain. CIC has a world-class research facility, cutting-edge equipments, an experienced management team, and a scientific committee composed of prominent scientists, entrepreneurs, and industrial experts.

We are inviting for application for a Platform Technician position to collaborate with the different research groups and research projects.
It will be a five to six months collaboration.
Within your responsibility you will have to carry out routine measurements using different techniques: Raman spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), prepare measurement report and support Platform manager in technical servicing of the equipment
We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor or Master degree in Physics, Material Sciences or Physical Chemistry and preferably with some experimental experience in surface science and/or ultrahigh vacuum In addition, a good knowledge of English as well as interpersonal skills and team spirit are expected.
