Assistant to the Director for the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO)

Descripción
The main role of the Assistant to the Director will be to assist the CNIO Director and the Deputy Director in all the administrative, scientific and clerical duties related with their function.
Specific duties:
• Prepare institutional talks for CNIO Director and Deputy Director.
• Prepare press releases on behalf of the CNIO Director.
• Assist the Director in the preparation and edition of CNIO Institutional Publications (Scientific Report, SAB meeting supporting materials, "plan de actuación", reports for the ISCiii, etc.).
• Assist the Director in his role and responsibilities and duties as member of external boards, committees, etc.
• Coordinate the agendas of the Director, Deputy Director and Programme Directors for PDC and other ad hoc meetings.
• Keep up to date the bibliometric data necessary to assess the CNIO scientific productivity and retrieve ad hoc bibliometric information upon request.
• Act as secretary of meetings and committees as required.


Se Requiere
• PhD in Life Sciences (preferably).
• Postdoctoral experience in biomedical research (ideally in oncology related areas).
• Experience in administrative and/or managerial activities related with biomedical research in the public and private sector.
• Computers skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Proficiency in managing, summarizing, processing and interpreting advanced scientific information.
