The Cell Death Regulation Group led by Cristina Muñoz Pinedo (http://www.idibell.cat/modul/cell-death-regulation/en) is looking for a postdoctoral or technician candidate to apply to the imminent call (October 2016) of the Catalan Health Department PERIS: http://salutweb.gencat.cat/ca/ambits_tematics/linies_dactuacio/recerca/
A minimum of three international publications in the past five years is required.

About the group:
The main aim is to decipher molecular responses to nutrient deprivation and anti-metabolic drugs. The project, funded by FIS and MINECO, will involve the characterization of cell death and cell-cell responses of cancer cells to glucose deprivation and inhibition of glucose metabolism. The candidate is expected to participate actively in experiments and bibliographical research, lab meetings, journal clubs, seminars and conferences.
