At our university, the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, we are looking for a Contracted Lecturer for our Bachelor's degree in Nursing programme.
The purpose of this position is:
To teach on the Bachelor's degree in Nursing programme, mainly in the Simulation Laboratories, and actively participate in the Nursing Education Committee which is housed in the Department of Nursing in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. The main idea is for the candidate to undertake innovative teaching and research projects along the lines set out in the Faculty.
The position will help you to:
Develop and learn within the competent and qualified environment in our university. The aim behind this degree programme is for it to become a role model in terms of teaching and research at both a national and an international level in the area of clinical simulation. For that reason the Faculty has a new 1000 m2 Clinical Simulation Unit, where people can work in a multidisciplinary way. The main objective of the Faculty is to educate the best healthcare professionals in terms of knowledge, attitudes and skills. The candidate should actively participate in promoting teaching excellence.
What do we offer?
A full-time position as a Contracted Lecturer on the Bachelor's Degree in Nursing programme.
Salary 37.350 Euros per year (based on the standard salary tables).
Solid academic and research experience in the field of teaching. The candidate must provide proven evidence of their research trajectory, as well as having the following qualifications and professional experience.
A PhD with the holder being accredited as a "Lector" by AQU, or a Contracted Lecturer (Lector) accredited by ANECA or equivalent in the case of foreign qualifications.
Solid experience in teaching at a pre- and postgraduate level.
Evidence of positive evaluations from students.
Recognised experience in the field of Clinical Simulation.
Advanced knowledge in innovative teaching methodologies.
Interest in working as part of a team on teaching and research projects which are being carried out as part of the nursing degree programme.
Proven management, multidisciplinary and teamwork abilities.
Interpersonal communication skills.
Language: Fluent Spanish and English. A B2 level in Spanish and English.
Commitment to the university.
